Each year, Randstad Canada identifies the country’s most attractive employers based on the world’s largest employer branding survey. Organizations cannot apply to be considered for the accolade – the independent survey asks Canadians for their perceptions of 150 of our country’s largest employers, providing an unbiased ranking of their employer brands.
The research provided by the most recent survey provides valuable insight into the minds of Canadian workers. The survey data reveals that while compensation remains a top priority, work environment and work-life balance are paramount when it comes to employer attractiveness. Further, Canadians said that poor cooperation with colleagues and long/extra hours and were the biggest detractors form work-life balance. The survey data provides tangible evidence that workplace culture matters to employees and job seekers across the country.
The 2014 Randstad Awards were announced this week and WestJet was named Canada’s Most Attractive Employer for the third consecutive year! Congratulations to WestJet and kudos to all the organizations identified as attractive employers through the 2014 Randstad Award. Canadians want to work for you!
