One of the things we love about Starbucks is the strong alignment between their employer brand and the customer experience. Starbucks partners are valued contributors and it shows in the way they interact with customers.
When I visit my local café, I get such a candid impression of what it would be like to work there. Even a quick drive-through experience showcases the employer brand and sets Starbucks apart from competitors. The baristas talks to me like I am a real person! This may sound a little outrageous, but we all know what it’s like to buy coffee elsewhere and barely receive acknowledgment of your order, let alone exchange in conversation.
There is a genuine interest in people to be found at Starbucks and the end result is a fantastic customer experience. Starbucks is doing employer branding right!
